Cancel Box
On a Personal Pro account, Cancel Account sits in Account Settings and asks you to complete a survey. The account stays open until the end of the service term. Business and Enterprise accounts can only be cancelled by an admin in the Admin Console.

What to expect

- Sign in at box.com and open Account Settings
- Personal Pro: click Cancel Account, complete the survey and confirm
- Business or Enterprise: an admin opens Admin Console, Account and Billing, then Cancel Account in the Status field
- Free personal accounts cannot be cancelled, only deleted with Permanently Delete Account
- To move down a paid tier rather than cancel, email cancel@box.com with the plan you want
