Cancel CBC Gem Premium
The Account page shows your subscription status. Near the bottom is Cancel my Subscription, then a confirm screen where you press Unsubscribe. Premium runs to the end of the billing period, after which Gem still works with ads.

Then CBC Gem Premium cannot cancel it for you. Use the store you paid through instead.

- Sign in at gem.cbc.ca
- Choose My Gem at the top right, then Account
- Check that Payment Method is Visa or Mastercard, an App Store or Google Play line means Apple or Google bills you
- Select Cancel my Subscription near the bottom
- Confirm with Unsubscribe

CBC Gem is geo-blocked outside Canada, so neither the site nor the app opens abroad. The help article says to email gemhelp@cbc.ca or use the CBC help form if you need to cancel while out of the country.
