Call 800-244-1111 or use chat to cancel, there is no online cancel button. Return a leased modem or Connected Voice adapter within 30 days or pay an equipment charge of up to $200. Any deposit plus interest is applied to the final bill.

Steps

  1. Call CenturyLink on 800-244-1111 or open the Chat to Cancel option on the how to cancel page
  2. Return leased equipment (modem, router or Connected Voice adapter) within 30 days of cancelling to avoid a charge of up to $200
  3. Get a UPS return label or QR code from the CenturyLink returns page: choose Continue as Guest on the UPS site, then take the boxed equipment to a UPS Store
  4. Check AutoPay and any bundle: cancelling one service can change bundle discounts
  5. DIRECTV or DISH television bought through CenturyLink is cancelled with them directly
  6. Watch for the final bill, which shows what is owed or any credit due after a deposit plus interest is applied
