Cancel Descript

Cancelling is a downgrade to Free. Open App Settings, pick the right Drive, go to the Plan tab, click Change plan and choose Downgrade to Free, give a reason and confirm. Your plan runs to the end of the billing cycle and projects stay accessible.

If the button does not land you there

  1. Log in at web.descript.com or open the desktop app
  2. Open App Settings with Control or Command and comma
  3. If you own several Drives, pick the right one in the sidebar
  4. Go to the Plan tab and click Change plan
  5. Choose Downgrade to Free
  6. Give a reason, then click Cancel subscription and follow the prompts
