Cancel DigitalOcean

Billing is by usage, so destroy every droplet, database, load balancer and registry first or charges keep running. Then scroll to Deactivate account, click Deactivate twice and confirm. You can reactivate later unless you purge your data.

Signed up through PayPal?

Then DigitalOcean cannot cancel it for you. Use the store you paid through instead.

If the button does not land you there

Sign in to the DigitalOcean control panel
Destroy all droplets, databases, load balancers, registries and other paid resources
Open your profile icon, then My Account
Scroll to Deactivate account and click Deactivate
On the Deactivate My Account page, optionally tick Purge all of my account data, then click Deactivate Account
