Cancel Freedom Mobile

Contact Freedom by phone or message and ask to cancel. Any MyTab device balance is charged in one lump sum and the phone is yours to keep. Cancel without porting out and the number is gone for good, so move the number to the new provider if you want to keep it.

Steps

  1. Dial 611 from your Freedom phone, or call 1-877-946-3184 within North America or +1-647-700-2435 from outside it. Open every day, 8AM to 1AM ET
  2. Or use the Message us options (Apple Messages or WhatsApp) at freedommobile.ca/en-CA/contact-us
  3. Ask to cancel. Freedom will offer to find a solution first, then cancels as requested
  4. On MyTab: the remaining balance is charged to the account as a lump sum when service is cancelled. You get the exact amount at the time of cancellation
  5. Keeping your number: port it out to the new provider. If you cancel without porting out you cannot reactivate the old Freedom number
