Cancel Google Fi Wireless
Sign in, open the Account tab, then Manage plan and Cancel service. No termination fees, but a financed device is charged in full when the account closes. Keeping your number? Choose Leave Google Fi instead to get your account number and port out PIN: service runs until the new carrier takes the number.
Go to Google Fi Wireless’s cancel page
Opens fi.google.com in a new tab. You will need to log in.
tapcancel is an independent guide and is not affiliated with Google Fi Wireless. You sign in on Google Fi Wireless’s own site. We never ask for a login, a password or a card number, here or anywhere.
What to expect
Buried in settingsIf the button does not land you there
- Sign in at fi.google.com or open the Google Fi app
- Open the Account tab and select Manage plan, then Cancel service, and follow the on screen instructions
- In a group plan, leave the group or remove members before you start
- Pay any overdue balance first: Google Fi will not cancel while one is outstanding
- Keeping your number? From Manage plan scroll to Leave Google Fi, select Transfer your number to another carrier, confirm, then select Get Transfer Info under the Cancellation pending banner
- Give the new carrier your Google Fi account number, the port out PIN, and your name and service address exactly as they appear on the Fi account
- The PIN is valid for 14 days. Do not pause service during the transfer. Google Fi cancels automatically when the transfer completes, usually within 24 hours
- If the phone is on monthly payments, the remaining balance is charged to your card on the next statement after you cancel
