Cancel Heroku
Heroku bills per app, so there is no single cancel button. Delete or transfer every app, remove paid add-ons, then settle any balance. Closing the account itself is a link at the bottom of Account Settings and cannot be undone.
Go to Heroku’s cancel page
Opens dashboard.heroku.com in a new tab. You will need to log in.
What to expect
Buried in settingsIf the button does not land you there
- Sign in at dashboard.heroku.com
- For every app, either delete it under Settings or scale all dynos to zero under Resources
- Remove every paid add-on under Resources
- Open your avatar, then Account Settings, and check the billing page for a balance
- At the bottom of Account Settings choose Close this account
