Cancel Mailchimp

Sign in and the plans page opens. Choose Change Plan, pick Free, then Downgrade twice. Mailchimp allows one downgrade to Free per account, ever, and you may have to delete contacts first to fit the free limit.

If the button does not land you there

  1. Sign in at login.mailchimp.com
  2. Click your profile icon, then Account
  3. Open Billing, then Monthly plans or credits
  4. In Marketing Plan click Change Plan
  5. Pick the Free plan and contact limit, click Downgrade, then confirm
  6. To close the account entirely, use Manage my plan, then Delete my account
