Cancel The Athletic

Open Account Settings, choose Subscriptions, then Athletic+ and Cancel Subscription. The Athletic now runs on a New York Times account, so the link moves you to nytimes.com. Access continues to the end of the paid period.

Signed up through Apple, Google Play or PayPal?

Then The Athletic cannot cancel it for you. Use the store you paid through instead.

  2. Open your profile menu, then Account Settings
  3. Choose Subscriptions
  4. Under Athletic+, choose Modify Subscription, then Cancel Subscription
