Cancel The Daily Beast

Log in first, then open this link. It lists your active subscriptions with an auto renew switch beside each one. Slide auto renew to off and it turns grey, the expiry date appears, and you get a confirmation email. You can slide it back on to resume.

Sign in at thedailybeast.com
Open the membership account page and find Active Subscriptions
Slide the auto renew switch to off
Check the confirmation email for the expiry date
